Tissue Bank of France (TBF)
Since 2021, TBF has been the reference provider to the Luxembourg Bone and tissue Bank (LBTB) with tissues collected from French living donors. As the sister company of the Group, the Tissue Bank of France (TBF) holds a privileged position. Valentin PFAIFER refers to it as the future of the Group. TBF, the first Tissue Establishment founded in France in 1993 by Patrick PFAIFER, has been driven by his initiative, followed by Rodolphe PFAIFER and Dr. Laurence BARNOUIN. Located in Mions, France, near Groupe Lépine, TBF focuses on research and innovation. It collects tissues in France, including over 200,000 femoral heads annually, and offers exclusive solutions from both bone and placental tissues for allografts covering several surgical specialties beyond orthopedics, such as spinal, dental, or ophthalmology. Its products, notably NerVFIX® and VisioAmtrix®, exemplify this unique expertise. TBF exclusively processes tissues from living donors by lyophilization. Tissue Bank of France is the reference supplier for LBTB, whose mission is to amplify its exports and promote the excellence of its allografts.
